Very interesting interview. I’ve begun to really enjoy Poythress’ material; he seems to have a vibrant “christology” that directs his thinking. I’m still not fully convinced of all the ways he sees Christ in the Tabernacle in his “Shadow of Christ in the Law of Moses”, nor am I sure of what he says in the interview where he relates the acacia wood of the Tabernacle to the idea of God’s “firmness and faithfulness” as a master builder because the acacia wood is known as a sturdy wood used to make buildings projects structually sound; but this is all probably due to my own lack of understanding, not his biblical theology in action. At any rate, I’m becoming a big fan of his!

Also, welcome back to the ‘net. I’m glad to know that you’re begining to get settled in again. I look forward to hearing how God is using you in your ministry.
