New Book

Christian Focus has just released a new book that looks very interesting.  The book is Last Things First: Unlocking Genesis 1-3 with the Christ of Eschatology. I don’t know much about the author, but the premise of the book sounds a lot like a previous post I wrote.  Check out the book here.

Another great book on biblical theology and eschatology is William Dumbrell’s The End of the Beginning: Revelation 21-22 and the Old Testament.

It is basically a biblical-theological commentary on the last two chapters of Revelation, tracing the five themes of the new Jerusalem, the new temple, the new covenant, the new Israel, and the new creation though the whole of the Scriptures. I read it earlier this year and found it fascinating.

Fesco’s book sounds like it is doing just the opposite – providing a biblical-theological commentary on the first three chapters of the Bible!

Yes, I that is a good book. I have it listed under my recommended reading link. The only problem is the cost. Wipf and Stock has re-published the book and they are very expensive.

Agreed, it is hard to get it for under $20 – which seems a lot for a paperback.
