I still have yet to read anything by Goldsworthy! I’d love to hear what you think of Gospel-Centered Hermeneutics. Any recommendation on a must-read-first Goldsworthy book?

Hi Phil,
I will be writing a review when I finish the book. Anything by Goldsworthy is great, but I would suggest two books.
1.) According to Plan. A good primer on Goldsworthy. This book has been a huge influence on so many people. Even my kids book on biblical theology cites the general thesis of this book: “God’s people in God’s place under God’s rule.”
2.) Preaching the Whole Bible as Christian Scripture. Goldsworthy’s book on how to preach from the Old Testament in a responsible manner.

Chad,
I’m reading the Goldsworthy book too. I really appreciate his writing ministry and have communicated that too him. Thanks for stopping by my blog and letting me know your thoughts. I hope you are edified by the Revelation Conference audio like I was.

I’ve run out of time to write a review of Goldsworthy’s new book, but Reformation 21 has a good review.

Chad.
You said, “Even my kids book on biblical theology cites the general thesis of this book: “God’s people in God’s place under God’s rule.”
Is the name of this book, “God’s people in God’s place under God’s rule”?
Where can I order the book?
Thanks
Faught

I’m excited about Goldsworthy coming to Southern Seminary.
I recently posted a review of “Preaching the Whole Bible as Christian Scripture.” A++ book!
